The transition to Net Zero is reshaping how we design, construct, and maintain the built environment. This Academy provides women at all career stages, from site-based roles to administrative, procurement, and FM functions, the technical, leadership, and digital skills needed to contribute confidently to a low‑carbon future.
You will graduate with three industry-recognised qualifications, practical digital capabilities, and a clearly defined pathway into advanced sustainability training.
Sustainable Construction (OCN NI Level 3 Award)
Learn the core principles behind eco‑efficient building design, including:
- Environmental regulations: Part F (Ventilation), Part L (Fuel & Power), PAS 2035
- Renewable systems: Heat pumps, Solar PV, MVHR
- Sustainable materials & procurement
- Waste minimisation & resource efficiency
Leadership & Management (ILM Level 3 Award)
Develop supervisory confidence with practical modules covering:
- Understanding leadership styles
- Motivational strategies that drive team performance
- Leading people and managing tasks effectively
Digital Construction Masterclasses (30 hours)
Hands‑on digital training delivered by industry specialists:
- BIM standards, compliance & workflows
- 3D model navigation, issue tracking & clash detection
- VR set‑up and immersive site walkthroughs
- Future Cast-led showcase on emerging site technologies
