Entry Requirements

 To qualify for GRASP funding, applicants must meet the following criteria; 

  • Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. 

  • Applicants must live in Northern Ireland or one of the bordering counties 

To be accepted onto the course, applicants must have the following: 

  • Language: Good understanding of English. 

  • Aptitude: Motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course. 

  • Previous experience: Moderate range of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the course, be able to work with responsibility and demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative. 

  • Education: NFQ Level 4 or equivalent when accessing a Level 5 programme.
