About this course

This qualification gives you the essential knowledge to work in the fast-growing retrofit sector. You'll explore the roles, responsibilities, and safe working practices vital to the industry. A major focus is understanding PAS 2035, a key industry standard, learning how it guides the entire retrofit process from preparation and installation to upgrading a property's energy efficiency.

Entry Requirements

This course is open to everyone interested in the retrofit industry. There are no formal entry requirements to join. It's ideal for those aged 16 and over, whether you're new to construction or an experienced tradesperson looking to upskill and add retrofit knowledge to your services.

To qualify for GRASP funding, applicants must meet the following criteria; 

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. 
Applicants must live in Northern Ireland or one of the bordering counties.
